Terms of Service

Effective date: April 10, 2026

1. Agreement

By downloading or using DeckSync ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of service

DeckSync is a presentation synchronization app that connects nearby devices over your local network using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework. Depending on conditions, data may travel over Bluetooth LE, peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, or the local Wi-Fi network your devices share. All paths stay local. The App requires no internet connection for its core features and has no backend servers.

3. Subscriptions

DeckSync offers an optional auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store.

All billing is handled by Apple. We do not process payments directly. Refund requests should be directed to Apple Support.

4. Your content

PDF files you import into DeckSync remain your property. The App stores files locally on your device. When you present, the App transmits a copy of your file to connected viewer devices over your local network so they can follow along. Viewer devices store the received file locally. No file ever leaves your local network, and Kojex never accesses, copies, or stores your files on any server.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Peer-to-peer connectivity depends on device proximity, hardware capabilities, and local network conditions outside our control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kojex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or failed presentation sessions.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
